Velata is here!!

Well i have been long awaiting Velata! I posted a few weeks ago a little about it but its now available so i figured i would tell you all again! Velata is an electric chocolate fondue system! Zephan Skye

Well Almost a year has passed since i had my perfect baby boy. So bitter sweet. I enjoy watching him grow and discover the world. So very different from my sweet little princess. Nothing stops him and he is like a bull in a china cabinet. But he is amazingly perfect in every way. He will be our last baby and I am finding myself very happy about that. I thought i would have baby fever but I dont which makes the decision much easier. I love our family now. It feels complete. May 25 is coming to quickly. I think he may have grown up quicker than Kendal. I don't remember her being 1 so quickly. He is walking and talking already and we finally got him on a sippy! so proud of my little man!

SO MUCH To tell you all!!

Ok so where to start!! Well i havent been on as much because my Scentsy Business is just going so Great!! I am BUSY BUSY BUSY!! that and a husband and three kids is keeping me a bit entertained to say the least. BUT oh my gosh NEWS!! Scentsy created a new brand called Velata! Its a Chocolate Fondue system!!! I know I know Im freaking out too!! you can be the First to sell it because you can join after May 1st!! so exciting. Fundraiser For Mariah!!

She was born on Oct 5 2009 at 26 weeks and weighed 2lbs 1oz. She spent 6months in the NICU and she was on oxygen for almost 2 years of her life. She was put into a medical foster home to car...e for her medical needs then she went to live with her grandparents, Who are some of the most amazing people I have ever met. She has a feeding tube that she used up until July of last year and she still has it. Despite the odds against her she is doing wonderful. She is still only 18 lbs at 2 yrs old but has a smile that lights up a room. She can walk, talk and sign. Thanks to her grandparents hard work and encouragement everyday this little girl has the chance to have a happy life. I am holding a Fundraiser for this sweet little girl! Chaos and loving it!

Well hello everyone! its been a while since i was a dedicated blogger. I am doing well as is my family but wow we have just been Slammed! I have a moment today so ill catch you all up. I became a Vegetarian on Oct 15th lol and that has been going really well. If you are wondering why i made the change then google "earthlings" its a documentary and its well there are no words but needless to say i am no longer a meat eater. Anyways my husband has been wonderfully supportive! We only cook vegetarian and everyone in the house is very please with it. We have eaten so many more foods that we would have before. We were pretty much eating casseroles because of the cost of meat and now our grocery bill is almost cut in half. we can actually enjoy going out to eat now. Crazy!! My kiddos are doing wonderful as well. Triston (14) is working on his grades and doing great! Kendal (6) just started ice skating classes and is doing awesome in her Spanish program at school and Zephan (9 months) is trying to walk and getting into everything lol. My husband just got a great job that will be making us some awesome money! so if you have been reading up since the beginning of this blog you will understand that this is a dream come true. He is working more which is sad but its ok because we are making great time with the time that we do have. He is so great! With having the kiddos all day long lets face it by the end of the day i want to rip my hair out lol but he always lets me get my relaxing time in so i can feel refreshed for the next day. My Scentsy Business as you know is just blowing up right now! its amazing! I have 6 people in my down line now, these are people who i have recruited for my team and they are all so happy to be apart of it too. We are having fun and making money doing it. it feels really nice to not only help provide for my family but also help my team do the same. Well as you can see life is just moving right along. Scentsy! Q and A :)

Well Happy February everyone! As you know I am a Scentsy Independent Consultant which is AMAZING i just hit my newest Promotion. Thats a 5% raise, two promotions, two awards, one adorable charm bracelet AND 50.00 in bonus Scentsy money ALL in just 6 months!!! CRAZY! I am literally beaming with pride, happiness and extra cash lol you have NO idea! Well the reason for this post is to 1 tell you my exciting news and 2 answer some questions about joining Scentsy i have been getting. We will start with the number 1 question i get asked almost daily :)

Q: How much can I expect to earn?

A: The amount you can earn depends completely on how much time and energy you want to invest. Consultants make 20%–30% commission on their own sales as well as additional bonuses on the sales of other Consultants they sponsor. Some of our Consultants opt to sell just enough for a little extra pocket money, while our Superstar Directors can make six-figure incomes per year. I can honestly say I have met all types of Consultants and this statement is VERY true! I plan to be at the top!

Q: I'm not a seller, can I still do well?

A: ABSOLUTELY!! I am not a seller at all! BUT i love the product and i love to talk! lol If you are the same then you can do very well! Simply sharing what you love and know can get you far.

Q: What kind of support and training does Scentsy provide?

A: At Scentsy, Consultants are truly sponsored and mentored, not just recruited. Along with support from your Sponsor and your upline Director (your Sponsor’s Sponsor), you’ll get access to web-based training tools and an online forum for connecting with fellow Consultants. We’ll send you a New Consultant Start-Up Guide, promotional products, and marketing tools.

Scentsy’s fully-staffed Consultant Support Department is available every weekday from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. (MT). We also hold an annual convention and seasonal training and networking events throughout North America, Puerto Rico, and Guam. There truly is someone to help you with everything. Starting something new can be overwhelming, we have all been through that and made it. I myself talk to my down-line (people under me) every single day to answer questions, and to provide support.

Q: Will I be obligated to meet any sales quotas?

A: You're free to schedule as many or as few parties as you like and sell as much or as little product as you like. Scentsy processes account cancellations only once each year, on January 1, for accounts with zero orders placed during the six-month period from July 1 through December 31.

Q: I know quite a few people who sell Scentsy, can i still be successful?

A: YES! Every Consultant sells Scentsy in their own way! You can have your own specials, You can do fairs or shows, You can sell on hand product, you can do all kinds of parties. You can sell online....and the list continues. There is always a new and Genius way to do a similar thing.

Q: $99.00 seems like a lot right now...what do i get for that?

A: I agree that sometimes its hard to come up with that start up and I understand completely! However if you work hard on your launch party you can easily make that right back and MORE :) I did! Also you get every ounce of material you need to start your business. You will open the box and be overjoyed with the amounts they have given you. its about a $250.00 value. Not to mention when you do sign up you dont have to wait for the kit to arrive (usually within the week). Your website is already up and running right away for you to get sales! pretty awesome!

Q: Is Scentsy a good long-term company?

A: YES YES YES! lol Scentsy was started in 2004 by a couple of stay at home mommy's who wanted a safe way to enjoy the Scents they love. It was started as a Wickless candle company. Pretty ingenious i think. In the last couple of years Scentsy has branched out and brought in Scentsy Buddies and Solid Perfume. When this happened I KNEW we would be branching out into something very exciting. This year So many exciting things are happening. Scentsy will be launching Online Scented greeting cards, Bath and Body products, Laundry care items AND a new brand called Velata! We are also launching ANOTHER new brand which i hear will make Direct Selling History. Now is the best time to start Scentsy!

Q: Velata? Chocolate?

A: Velata is a Scentsy brand. Think of Scentsy as an umbrella. And velata (and future brands) sitting below it. Its an extension of scentsy but a whole new experience. Stemming from the idea of safe warmers; Velata is a chocolate fondue system. Its safe and delicious!!

Q: Can I sell Velata and Scentsy?

A: Yes you can! In fact if you join Scentsy before April you will have the opportunity to start Velata at a discounted rate. :) You also DO NOT HAVE to sell Velata if you do not want to! You can choose to sell one or the other or both. its GREAT!--Velata will be launching in March so if you are interested in Selling just Velata you will be able to sign up on March 1st.

Q: How do i Join Scentsy?

My breath of fresh air...

Well im not sure who actually reads my blog but im hoping that it reaches someone that needs it. I will start by saying this is NOT a recruitment tactic but simply one mom/woman to another...there are times when the bills dont get paid. there are times when we or our husbands dont have work. there are times when there are pay cuts and downsizing. Scentsy has given my family a way to breathe. and i honestly mean that. no it wasnt given it was earned. i work hard for the amount i bring in and some times i work harder than others and it shows. Last month i brought in over 600 all by myself :) my husbands income last month was lower than average due to no work. without the extra 600 we would have had to borrow money for rent, had no presents for anyone, and would quite honestly be in a very bad situation. if you feel like your family needs some money look into scentsy. you dont have to be on my team. Just look into it and see if its for you. Im not a people person, I do not have a lot of friends, and im not a seller and I can do it. I can't promise you that you will be rich or even make money. but what i CAN do is tell you my experience and let you be the judge. a family member of mine is a personal banker and the other day a man rolled up in a brand new BMW and walked in wearing a scentsy shirt. after talking for a while he mentioned he makes 34,000 a month. yep a month! and thats all scentsy. he said he just thought outside the box and soon was selling scentsy like crazy and it has changed his life. there are other people who make 8,000 or 10,000 a month! and yes there are MANY that make 500 a month or less. The great thing about scentsy is you truly get what you put into it.

Scentsy has given me my life back and i do not just mean financially. i have my group my family. these amazing people who through scentsy have become a part of my family. i love them! they are wonderful, helpful, interesting and fun people who without scentsy we wouldnt have developed the bond we now have. I am just so thankful for everything Scentsy has done for me :)
